Pro tip: get an air fryer, and buy 100% Grassfed ground beef or Wagyu ground beef, rip it off with your fingers into small little mini burger patties, and air fry them for 10 minutes. Your kid will love it.
Also, AI isn’t about having fun! What I mean is AI cannot have fun.
Also, AI cannot be curious because it doesn’t really care about anything, it’s still requires a human input, or the human who programmed it to have a certain “care“.
Therefore, AI cannot be curious? Let us know that the word curious comes from care.
What I love about ChatGPT, and now the new DALL-E 3 is the fun and creative way to visualize images come up with inventions etc.
I think there is zero threats to artist, because truth be told, the art that AI generates just looks like clip art.
I think the reason I love photography— one my theories is that I’m actually not that good at visualizing things in my head, therefore I love ChatGPT and DALL-E 3 because it helps me visualize things!
Morale of the story: just cough up the 20 bucks, try using the premium ChatGPT for a month and see how you like it. I can guarantee this is the most fun you will ever have on your phone your iPad or any device!
I particularly enjoy it to help visualize ancient Greek mythological characters like Milo of Croton, Achilles or Hercules, and also inventing ideas for new weightlifting equipment!
I don’t remember the last time I’ve been this excited enthusiastic about any sort of new technology, besides when I was a kid, getting my first computer, learning how to code in basic, and then later connecting to the Internet on AOL 3.0, using my 38.8 K modem.
I think what I enjoyed the most about studying AI, and thinking about AI, is that it allows me in encourages me to think more about what it really means to be human
Artificial intelligence cannot be wise, because once again, it is just a really good filter, in regurgitating of what is on the internet and what has already been written. It takes a true visionary, a true individual genius to actually write things of worth.
Experimenting and using ChatGPT, ChatGPT 4: some thoughts:
Ultimately the human mind is a much better filter than that of AI. Why? Information that AI ChatGPT or maybe even Google gives the generic and already pre-filtered and some sort of boring way.
AI just rehashes and regurgitates that which has already been said
Milo of Croton was a legendary ancient Greek wrestler and athlete, known for his incredible strength and numerous victories in the Olympic Games and other major Greek sporting events. Several tales and anecdotes describe his training methods, which were meant to exemplify his remarkable strength and dedication. Here are some of the most famous stories about Milo’s training:
Progressive Overload with a Calf: One of the most famous tales about Milo’s training is that he once picked up a newborn calf and carried it on his shoulders. Every day, he would lift and carry the calf. As the calf grew into a full-grown bull, Milo’s strength also increased because he was lifting a heavier weight each day. This story is often cited as an early example of the principle of “progressive overload” in strength training, where the amount of weight or resistance is gradually increased over time to build strength.
Eating a Lot: It’s said that Milo consumed 20 pounds of meat and bread and drank 18 pints of wine each day. This massive caloric intake, while likely an exaggeration, emphasizes the importance of nutrition in athletic training.
Breaking a Band: Another tale claims that Milo could break a band tied around his forehead by simply inflating the veins on his temples. This showcased his ability to focus and harness strength in unique ways.
Splitting a Tree: Milo was also said to have the ability to split a tree trunk in half with his bare hands. Once, he inserted his fingers into a small split in a tree and then pulled it apart.
Endurance Training: Besides his strength feats, Milo was also known for his endurance. He supposedly trained by running in the sand, which would have increased resistance and made his training more challenging.
Defensive Training: Milo was always aware of the dangers of becoming too specialized in one form of athletic prowess. To ensure he was well-rounded, he also practiced defending himself from surprise attacks. There’s a story where he was ambushed by enemies but managed to fend them all off.
It’s important to note that while these tales are fascinating and have been passed down for millennia, they have likely been embellished over time. However, they do give insight into the ancient Greek ideals of strength, determination, and discipline.
In Greece, winter temperatures vary depending on the region:
Coastal Areas: Along the coast and on the islands, winter temperatures are milder. Here, daytime temperatures can range from 10°C to 15°C (50°F to 59°F), but colder snaps can bring temperatures down slightly. Nighttime temperatures might drop to 5°C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F).
Athens: The capital, Athens, has average winter temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F). However, it can occasionally get colder, especially at night.
Mountainous Regions: In the mountainous areas, temperatures are much colder and can drop below freezing. Snowfall is common in these regions during winter.
Northern Greece: This area, especially cities like Thessaloniki, can experience colder winters with temperatures often dropping to freezing or below. Snow is also possible, though not as common as in the
I guess ancient Sparta was colder?
Ancient Sparta was located in the region of Laconia in the southeastern part of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece. The climate of ancient Sparta would have been similar to that of modern-day Sparta or the surrounding region.
The climate in this region is Mediterranean, characterized by hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. In terms of temperatures:
Summer: Temperatures in summer could get quite hot, often reaching 30°C (86°F) or higher during the daytime.
Winter: Winters are milder, but temperatures can drop to around 0°C (32°F) or slightly below, especially during the coldest months. Snow is rare but not unheard of, especially in the surrounding higher elevations.
It’s worth noting that while we can give general climate figures based on the region, specific temperature
First, restraining constraining and becoming more tolerant. Keeping your mouth shut, never uttering petty words, even though restraining or anger will deal much damage and stress to yourself.
It is OK to change your face, the expression of your face, you cannot control your hormones. But, perhaps the best way to be a man is via negativity; to not open your mouth.
Microsoft is insanely smart of putting a huge investment into open AI, ChatGPT etc. bing.com seems like the future?
It seems that Apple and Google have missed the boat. It seems that googles AI “Bard†pales in comparison to open AI and ChatGPT. I could also envision and foresee Microsoft adding more AI ChatGPT like things to their own devices and platforms. ChatGPT phone, or a ChatGPT laptop or tablet.
Also, a huge important thing is investing into open AI, whisper, and other AI assisted voice recognition technologies which make audio voice transcription easier faster and more accurate, in order to augment human creativity.
Here is where Apple is doing a good job; for example on my iPad Pro, the M1 chip, the built-in audio dictation is very fast accurate and great! This helps me stream my thoughts much much more effectively than typing with my thumbs which is slow tedious and also gives me carpal tunnel.
What is the role of us humans? We humans are visionaries!
To become more human is the goal!
What do we really want?
I don’t think we want more money more power more resources, more health, whatever. Rather, I think we want to expand, augment our curiosity and beyond?
Also, Art?
How to become more curious, how to cultivate your curiosity?
Always assume that somebody is watching, because most likely, somebody is.
However, these “security guards“, tend to just be underpaid staff who could really care less.
Everything that I do is an art piece, an art concept?
The upside of handwashing your own car is that you better understand it? You better understand the curves, the edges etc.
When you hand wash your car, you start to understand the 3-D contours of everything?
I am OCD about design.
I am also OCD about cleanliness and hygiene?
I like being unhurried, unrushed, and to kill time.
Bone marrow is food for the demigods
How to become demigod?
Lift very very very very very heavy stones and boulders just like Achilles
Consume more bone marrow, just like Achilles as well?
What car would Achilles drive? Dubious that he would drive any car.
Two ideas in concepts: straight flat horizontal lightbar for the front and the back of a Prius, as well as iPad Pro mount holder for car?
Often stupid ideas are good ideas?
There doesn’t need to be a logic behind it
What is less distracting? Dark mode is less distracting, as well as black clothes?
AI doesn’t care for aesthetics, but humans do.
Just do what you want, not what others want, even worse, what others want you to do.
