You Can Only Critique that Which You Truly Understand and Love

Or why your critics are your most beloved lovers:

You can only truly critique something you truly love and understand

To critique means to judge. To judge uncompromisingly, with honesty and love … this is key. For example, I can thoroughly critique Nietzsche because I have read all his books at least 5 times. Same goes with Steve Jobs, JAY Z, Elon Musk, and Kanye West.

You can only critique and judge people who you are obsessed with.

And this is one thing I have discovered about my personal critics:

They know an unusual amount of information about me.

Which means that critique and ‘hating’ is just love in disguise.
