EXTREME INNOVATION.

Perhaps the ‘best’ way to innovate (the American school) is to strive for extreme innovation? For example, TESLA, SPACE X, KANYE WEST YEEZY, etc.

Anti self-preservation

Better to ‘moonshot‘ and fail (epic), than to just iterate in the boring way.

More American, less Japanese and German?

The Japanese and Germans are very risk-averse, whereas Americans are probably the least Risk Averse individuals on the planet.

For example, I find it far more fascinating how Elon Musk attempted (and succeeded) in TESLA, rather than just do a boring iteration of what already worked in the past.

Starting carte blanche (tabula rasa) seems best. First principles thinking.
