THE BEST IS YET TO COME.

To build off of the anti-romanticism notion:

Let us consider– the best is yet to come.

Our best selves are yet to come. Our best artwork is the best to come. The best designs, films, architecture, modern societal concepts are *YET TO COME!*

Life before the internet?

Do you remember life before the internet? It sucked. I remember life before Google Maps and having GPS on a smartphone — it was impossible to figure out how to get anywhere.

If it weren’t for blogs and the internet, I wouldn’t have been able to transform my passion into my living.

Imagine a ‘hipster’ from the 1980s, who were nihilistic … not knowing that the internet revolution would happen.

Films I am excited for

John Wick 4, Matrix 4. Let us avoid this romantic notion that —

The best films were all in the past, and there will never be a better film.

Same with cars. A lot of people romanticize about past car designs, but let us think:

The best car is yet to come.

Consider how the Tesla Model S Plaid (2021) smashes any other modern hypercar. Even a new camera I am insanely excited for is the new Fujifilm GFX 50s II.

Or with car design, my great enthusiasm for the new Lexus IS sports sedan [2021] (the IS 500F Sport looks uber-gangsta, with the V8 in a Japanese import car!!)

Music

Also the new DONDA Kanye West album — I am so blown away. It is insanely great! Just when I thought Kanye couldn’t make better music,,, he just made it 10x more epic!

Let us look to the future with great enthusiasm, and knowing that our best selves are yet to become!
