THE BENEFIT OF JUST ONE.

Certainly from a pragmatic perspective in an evolutionary perspective, having insurance for more than one is better. For example, we have two kidneys, two eyes, two ears, and two hands.

Also when it comes to digital and cyber security, it seems wise to always have a back up.

But what if having just one was a more interesting option? For example, we only have one life. And that is why we appreciate it so much?

Just one

For example, just one camera and one lens. Or just one website/blog.

Just one phone, and just one laptop. And just one name.

And even though they are great entrepreneurs like Elon musk who is running 2 great companies, is it better for us to just focus on one?

Just one identity?

HAPTIC-logo

Maybe it is simpler for us to just have one identity. One email address, and one phone number.

Also, easier for us to just have one car, or no car. Think about how the master samurai only needs one sword, even though it is not always the ideal tool in every single situation.

Also, even if you’re rich to only have one home. One hometown. Or maybe not even owning a home.

Just one type of cryptocurrency?

Another thought: maybe diversification is not a good thing. Diversification is simply a sign that you’re not sure what you really believe in. In the short life of ours, maybe just focus on one type of cryptocurrency you really believe in? And abandon the rest.

Also, to just have one outfit, one color, which is black. Just one pair of shoes, even though it isn’t ideal for all situations.

And while I do believe in shooting both color and black-and-white photography, maybe in the short life of ours, just focus on mastering one?

In praise of monogamy

Also, easier to just have one wife than many. And this is why cheating never made sense to me, because it is just much more work. Best to just stay loyal to your wife, and indulge on porn in the side, then to cheat on your partner.

Most likely, you only have one Archimedes lever.

The best way to move the world is to export your one Archimedes lever, that is your one greater strength.

Even great creative minds like Kanye West, their number one value is making music. His products stemmed from his music, not the other way around. Kanye‘s interest in fashion stemmed from hip-hop culture and hip-hop music, not the other way around.
