ERIC KIM LIFE STORY

My life story:

I’ve always loved art. Ever since I was a child — I was all about drawing, painting, crayons, LEGO’s, and illustrations.

I’ve always been a free spirit.

At a young age, my mom thought I’d become an engineer [my love for breaking things apart then putting it back together]. LEGO TECHNICS were my love.

I also loved robots and would spend hours with delicate line-work to detail them.

I spent my childhood in Bayside, Queens in New York, and I was actually hand-selected for an art magnet school [for middle school]. Unfortunately we moved, so that never happened.

My passion for blogging

Blogging is funny. I first got introduced to MADDOX when I was in elementary school, and I found him so hilarious. I wanted to do my own spin, so back in the day I started to blog on XANGA [high school days] with a similar style. I had so much fun.

My desire to empower others?

Ultimately my passion is this:

To empower others.

Why? Well–

  1. I like talking to other people
  2. When I empower others, I feel a huge hormonal rush of joy
  3. I know how shitty it felt being empowered, and I desire to ‘pay it forward’ [my desire to empower humanity].

So ultimately my life story is this

I’ve had scars in the past, but the scars actually empowered me to become more. Perhaps my new life goal:

Figure out ‘post-traumatic growth‘ — as a stimulus to growth, hope, joy, love, and great optimism in life!
