A brave new (digital) world

To be frank, I think modern times is a bit lame. We were promised a digital revolution; all we were given were smartphones and social media apps.

I have greater ambitions:

An incredible new digital world of unlimited creative thriving.

If you truly want to move the world, all you need is a laptop (and your own self-hosted website). Register a website and domain on 1and1.com or bluehost.com with wordpress.org. From then — you can do anything.

Limitless

With your own website, you can augment your own personal power beyond your own (embodied) body. Digital technology is the secret to artistic and creative transcendence.

Open source

Another idea:

If you desire immortality as an artist, keep your photos and art-works open-source.

This means upload your photos (full-resolution) to your website, and make them free/open to download.

New rules

In this new digital world, ideas of copyright and DRM is nonsense. We must become brave and come up with new ideas to create money and value in this brave new digital economy.

How to become more powerful and to gain more influence

Spread yourself. Spread your ideas.

Use open platforms like YouTube to share your ideas. But don’t chase views or likes. Chase the notion of saying something new, unorthodox, brave, and authentic to yourself.

Still — YouTube should only be given 10% focus. Focus 90% of your efforts on your own website/blog. Your website/blog will become your personal ‘Archimedes lever’.
