A thought if you want to become more productive:

Figure out what to SUBTRACT in order to FOCUS MORE, and to produce more.

Effectiveness

For example:

I’ve discovered by NOT having a smartphone, I am far more productive. Why? Fewer distractions. And less time on my phone means more time on my laptop; which is 1000x more efficient than working on a phone.
No internet: If your goal is to become more productive, instead of trying to figure out how to get faster wifi speeds, perhaps better to figure out how to put yourself into a situation or scenario where you can work OFFLINE. Or use the Freedom App to shut off your wifi, in order to focus.
Figure out what responsibilities and B.S. to cut away, in order to focus on what you consider your “Archimedes Lever” in life.
Use email as little as humanly possible: Email as the major distractor. I believe almost no “real work” is done via email. Generally to create and produce NEW THINGS of value; this is where you build your wealth.
Define and identify yourself based on what you DON’T do when compared to others, or what you DON’T own.
Rather than making ‘todo lists’, create ‘NOT to do lists’.
To become happier in life, better and more effective to REMOVE or subtract what makes you miserable, instead of “adding” what makes you happy.
The upside of ignorance: We must not strive to learn everything. Instead, we need a “wall of ignorance” (Nietzsche) to protect us.
Better to subtract negative and toxic people from your life than “adding” positive people from your life.
In terms of diet, figure out what weakening foods to REMOVE from your diet which make you fat (sugar, simple starches, simple carbs), rather than “adding” pro-biotic foods, or other food supplements.
With photography, figure out what distractions to REMOVE from your photos.
