The Future is Photography Blogging

Why I love blogging:

Everything is constantly in flux, and constantly changing, evolving, and becoming different.
There is never finality.
Through blogging, you can better digest your experiences, and “meta-think” (by writing things down, you can think).
We love sharing our photos and ideas; blogging as the perfect platform.

Never stop

The secret to blogging? Never stop.

Also another tip:

Don’t aim for perfection.

The biggest thing that gets in the way of bloggers– they treat blogging like their school-days, in which they tried to impress their schoolteachers. Too much over-obsession with grammar and “good writing” rules.

Blogging must be fun!

This is why blogging is so fun for me:

You’re not getting graded by a teacher
There are no “good” or “bad” ways to blog. The most important thing in blogging: being honest. To write what you truly think and believe.
You can share your thoughts, experiences, and photos.

Why blogging is better than printing or traditional publishing

With printing, it is too final. There is too much focus in photography to have a fancy exhibition and print a photo book. While this is a noble goal, it ain’t the ultimate goal.

I feel that there are many ways that photo blogging or working on your photo website is superior to printing a photo book:

You can constantly work on your photo project; constantly removing, adding, and re-sequencing and re-editing your project.
There is less pressure.
It is 10000x cheaper to publish on a website/blog than to print photo books!
