What is the secret to success? We cannot be certain, but stopping and not continuing to hustle seems to a good path to unsuccess.

What trait do great entrepreneurs share? Simple: RELENTLESSNESS, and to a degree– RUTHLESSNESS.

Relentlessness: Not stopping (relent+less), not bending; not being ‘lentus‘ (soft)

Why be relentless?

To me, success is longevity. If you’re able to stay prolific for 30+ years, consider yourself successful.

For example, when it comes to artists– I am always interested in:

Why aren’t these once uber-famous people no longer famous and relevant? And how has it been that certain individuals have been able to stay relevant and influential for 10, 20, 30+ years?

It seems that the best artists and entrepreneurs are the ones who are relentless, and DON’T STOP making their artwork. Thus perhaps we should think of longevity+productivity as two elements for long-term thrivival.

Don’t die (which means, never stop publishing/posting).

As photographers, the best photography tip:

Don’t die (don’t lose your creative vision, your passion for making images, and don’t stop shooting).

As an entrepreneur,

Don’t die. Prevent going broke (have lots of money in the bank), and stay relentless in continuing to build your passion project.

The goal ain’t to build a company for 10 years, and sell it for 1 trillion dollars, and retire for the rest of your life on some island. No– the point is for you to continue to hustle until you die, and for you to direct your own personal evolution. Evolve into a greater human being.

Whatever you pursue in life, never stop. Only stop shit that you don’t really care for.

But if you are truly passionate about your artwork and life; don’t stop. Never stop producing, creating, and let your personal creativity and productivity be your life goal.
