The goal:
(more…)Infinite Muscular Gains

The more distractions, the more money (advertising or app revenue) for Apple, FacebookGram, GoogleTube, Amazon, etc.
It is simple— just follow the money.

Humans are awesome. To be pessimistic and negative is easy. Takes more skill, courage and valor to be optimistic.

Don’t waste too much energy trying to motivate others— best to spend energy focus and time to motivate yourself.

Lumix g9, Leica-Lumix 12mm f/1.4 lens (24 mm full-frame equivalent), and RODE Microphone with Wind Jammer. Optimal for street vlogging, or vlogging … anything. Shoot 4K at 60 FPS; it is a beast.

Lesson from my friend Todd Hata:
Better to buy the cheapest iPhone or Tesla than buy the most expensive Android phone or the most expensive Toyota.
Also — perhaps better to buy the cheapest Lexus than the most expensive Toyota (Toyota owns Lexus). Also getting the cheapest Genesis car than the most expensive Hyundai car (Hyundai owns genesis).

I became an entrepreneur because I was dissatisfied with society, how the world works, and dissatisfied with the photography culture and world, thus … I desired to create the change which I wished to see manifested in the embodied world.

I do both:
(more…)Intermittent fast (no breakfast or lunch), and when I break my fast (dinner), I eat a SHITLOAD of food (mostly meat // a more carnivorous diet).

A consumer thinks:
If I could discover the perfect product and can buy it, I’d be so happy.
The producer thinks:
Man, everything sucks and is so mediocre. I’d rather build something cool myself!

As of now, RICOH GR III is the best camera (at all price points) in the market. Leica, Fuji, Apple doesn’t come close.

My personal thoughts on the importance of tolerance in society:
Just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean everyone else shouldn’t like it or do it!
Don’t strive to become anyone else; strive to become MORE of yourself!

Beyond thinking about “good†and “bad†photos. Best to think about just making photos which document and detail your own personal life journey:

A philosophical photographic approach and thought to life:

Everything doesn’t happen for a “reasonâ€, but we should think:
Don’t desire for reality to have manifested any other way!

Start with the end, and work your way backwards. Or the chess idea:
(more…)Study the endgame — the most effective way to master chess (not studying opener moves) // via Peter Thiel (‘Zero to One’ Book)

Or in other words, not tech for the sake of tech. Or as little tech as possible.

The notion of “just do you” is a good one from modern day thinking. It means:
(more…)Leave others alone, but also demand others leave you alone.

We talk much about “body shaming” or even LGBTQ “pride” weeks. But how come we never talk about body pride?

To achieve, do, and create truly extraordinary epic things, you must have hyper health and apex health. How to do this? Some of my thoughts:
Create the future. Create your own idealized self, and your own ideal future. Your own ideal society.
Don’t wait around for society to come to you. You build it now. Today.

Don’t wait for new stuff to come out, and you wait until you buy it. No. You build it and make it! Create the future. Create what you desire to see manifested in the world.
For example, the point ain’t waiting for the new Apple product, Google product, or Tesla product to come out for you to lust over and you desire to buy it. The point is for you to stop, and think and say:
I will build the next Apple (I’m the next Steve Jobs). I will build my own car (start from scratch, a skeleton body and build up the car). I will design and create my own phone (open source, root an Android phone?
Thus the thought:
(more…)Either take all the tools (already existing in your disposal, no rumor mill stuff) and maximize it and yourself, or just go out and create what you desire to see manifested in the world.

The basic gist:
(more…)Everyday, strive to improve (at least) .5%, or 1%, or whatever percentage. Even a tiny tiny tiny improvement everyday, compounded over a year is insane gains!

This seems very counter-intuitive, but the best time to start your own business and entrepreneurial endeavor is during uncertain times (like now!)

The best thing you can do for your mental and physiological health: quit the news. The best way to conquer fear and anxiety.
True wealth as health. As physiological “power overwhelmingâ€. As deep self confidence. Freedom from anxiety, fear, and death.

Your power:

Living biological organisms desire to exhibit, exert, and augment their power.

Social science is not a critical and hard science like math or physics, but I see it more as an approach and aesthetic.

More bodybuilders should get into philosophy and more philosophers should get into bodybuilding.
Bodybuilding — the art of building your body. Increasing your muscle mass (skeletal muscle) while lowering (or keeping minimal) your bodyfat (adipose tissue).

The best marketing and self-branding tip I have for you:
(more…)Know this: your name (first and last name) is your ultimate brand.

If you want to be an owner and a master, you must own your platform and own yourself.
Don’t be a digital share-cropper, or an Insta-Slave.
Wisdom and sagacity as the end goal of life; not money, power, prestige, etc.

No matter what your background or who you is, your opinion is valuable.
