In Praise of Creativity

What should be your ultimate value? Not our ability to make a lot of money from work, but rather, our capacity, courage, and ingenuity for innovation and creativity.

How do you become more creative?

Assuming that creativity is our Apex value, how does one actually become more creative?

Simple: devote more of your day towards creating and making things. I think the best definition of creativity is the propensity to create.

Observe how children play

The best way to study creativity is not from business books, but through direct observation from children. How do kids play, and make up their own games? How is it that they are so imaginative? Study them.

Unchain yourself

What are kids love to do? Question. To question everything. Always asking the question why?

The greatest enemy to creativity is modern notions. Question everything, and have the courage to go anti-, or against the grain.
