Face Photography

In praise of photographing faces:

Why photograph faces?

A beautiful face is a promise of a more beautiful future.

Ever since I was a kid, I have always been fascinated with faces. Even into my teenage years, I always rated the beauty of others on their faces. For example for the girls I was interested in, the apex was always their face. The most essential:

That they had a beautiful face.

Even now, as I continue my life journey with Cindy (and now baby Seneca), I never tire of looking at Cindy’s beautiful face. Her face brings me immense joy, and now … looking at Seneca’s face brings me a new type of delight:

The combination of his face, and my face, and Cindy’s face (all hybrid).

Focus on faces — photographing faces (your own face, faces of others) and expose yourself to more human faces (go to places where you can see the faces of strangers) and perhaps even intake more media which has to do more with faces than other design-things.
