Photography Entrepreneurship Philosophy

Take your own destiny in your own hands with empowering Photography Entrepreneurship Philosophy:

Fulfill your personal maximum at ERIC KIM WORKSHOP

1. Just do it

Worst case scenario you fail. Best case scenario, you win and succeed!

Would you rather be on your deathbed and grateful you took risks in life (and failed)? Or would you rather take the safe path in life, and regret having not taken more risks in life?

2. Overcome self-doubt

Self doubt comes from society. A lot of us have been trained like sheep to be afraid. We’re beaten by our parents to obey. We’re punished by our teachers to obey. We’re trained by our bosses to be diligent workers.

It’s not your fault you lack self-confidence.

But recognize, it’s in your power to take control of your own fate, and to build your self confidence!

3. Monetizing your passion is not a sin

Go ahead, “sell out“.

There’s no sin of selling your art, no sin of making money from your photography, services, etc.

4. How much money is enough?

If you could have an ideal salary a month, what would it be? How much money do you “need” or desire on a daily basis?

Do you use money as a statistic to track your “progress” in life? Or do you just need it to pay for rent and basic necessities?

What does money mean to you as a photography entrepreneur, and how do you know once you have “enough”?

Write the answer for yourself in your phone or on a piece of paper. No right or wrong answers here.

5. Entrepreneurship is empowerment

Entrepreneurship is a practical way of living a more epic life, filled with more adventures and risks.

Entrepreneurship is finding more purpose, control, and freedom in your life; not just making more money.

6. Branding yourself as a unique individual

What makes you unique? You know!

Don’t be shy and bashful about sharing what makes you unique and special.

Leverage your strengths by asking yourself:

What is my “Archimedes lever” in life?

This means, identify your strength, and focus on building upon your strengths, to make a more powerful impact in the world!

7. Make yourself effective

Peter Drucker talks about the difference of being “effective” (good) and “efficient” (being good at busy work).

  • Don’t be efficient; that’s only for machines and tools.
  • Be effective: maximize your power with your strengths

In practical words,

Don’t do busy work which is just used to fill your Google calendar. Only do stuff and make stuff which will make a positive change in the world.

I read in Nassim Taleb‘s new book, “Skin in the game” a quote from Warren Buffett:

The difference between successful people and very successful people are that VERY successful people say “no” to almost everything.

Conclusion: You got the power within you!

STAY focused, don’t let your attention get scattered, hustle hard, and put a dent in the universe!

BE STRONG,

ERIC
