Why I Like to Shoot Layered Street Photography Compositions
The fun joy with shooting layers:
A visual challenge, joy, interest, and game!
How to shoot layers
First, you just gotta find an interesting scene and background, and while you’re walking, keep shooting. Shoot from a low angle, get close, and try to integrate layers.
The key thought:
Try to make the photos as dynamic and full as possible.
How to pick your favorites
My suggestion:
Look at your photos as small thumbnails, then choose your favorite photos based on your gut.
Also when you’re looking through your photos (in say Lightroom), make sure to black out the edges, and you can better see the compositions.
Then analyze the compositions:
Ultimately, it is just a fun game!
Composition is a game. No rules. Just have fun!
