An interesting way to see composition–
Think about bounding boxes around your subjects.
This is effective for multiple subjects, layers, and more.
What is a bounding box?
Simply put:
Putting a box or a boundary around your subjects.
Mental bounding boxes, and technology-assisted.
For example, intelligent auto [ia] mode on Lumix G9.
See how the AI tracks the body of a person, and puts a box around it– to show their placement and how much room they take up in the frame.

This is where studying computer vision is useful.
In studying composition, do it for yourself
I study composition for myself. for me to understand what I consider great compositions. If it ain’t fun for me, it ain’t worth doing.
