A thought:
Perhaps “mental illness†is the red herring in the room. Perhaps the ROOT cause of all illnesses (mental, depression, anxiety) is rooted in the human physiology — (sleep deprivation, too many stimulants and depressants in ones body, bacterial infections, lack of movement and sun exposure, weakened immune system, poor nutrition).
Let me explore these ideas with you:
The key to the best life.
To dictate your own fate, your own future. To use your willpower to carve, sculpt, and transform external reality to your liking.
Simple:
Find scenes you find interesting, and just keep recording!
The truth:
Nobody knows what is going on.
Nobody can discount or falsify your experiences in life:
A simple way to augment your happiness and joy in life:
Workout every single day at the park.
As someone who has the scars of witnessing and experiencing domestic abuse (my dad against my mom, both verbal and physical), I have zero tolerance towards any form of domestic abuse.
Furthermore:
Anyone who even lays a finger on a woman should get NO sympathy from the police, government, or anyone.
A thought:
We think much about those in power, those not in power, or those in privilege or those without privilege.
The question:
Why do you care, and what are you going to do about it?
Towards an extreme selfishness and extreme altruism approach:
Dysmorphia: hating how your body looks (even if it looks objectively great).
Eumorphia: loving how your body looks.
Food: not for hedonism and pleasure-maximization, but for physiological growth (muscular hypertrophy [which actually just means ‘hyper-nutrition’]).
I eat to augment my muscles, strengthen my body, mind, in order to become more epic, apex, strong, to create more powerful ideas to share.
Don’t walk for ‘exercise’. No — walk for existential reasons. To walk slowly is the first step to becoming a philosopher (Nassim Taleb). Also remember the Nietzsche quote:
Trust no thought which doesn’t come to you while walking!
To improve your photo compositions, study geometry.
Towards a more individualistic society.
In today’s brave new world, the only way to thrive as an entrepreneur:
You must advertise yourself.
What is your most valuable asset? Your name. Your first and last name. The more people who know your name, the more people trust you … the better.
Get rid of competitors and organized sports. Instead, focus on play, fun, and personal self development.
In life, put your name on it. Don’t be a coward and post anonymously. More courage, valor, and respect when you attach your real name to things (first and last name).
For the most part, I cannot trust nobody else but myself, Cindy, my mom, my sister, and my old friends.
Why? My thoughts:
Why did I desire to become self-employed and to ‘become my own boss’?
Well, from a very young age, I knew I didn’t want to “work for the man”.
As a consequence, my goal in life was to become self-employed to gain total freedom over my life, and to determine my own future.
Modern marketing is almost universally fear marketing.
Social fears; the easiest fears to conquer.
The best way to change the world? Start blogging.
Strive towards greatness, and becoming even greater. Perfection doesn’t exist, and the belief in perfection (Platonism, following Plato and his fallacious theories on “perfect formâ€) is a suckers game.
Simple ideas:
Question:
What are our ideal aesthetics in photography? Do we want our photos to look as much as ‘real life’ as possible, or ABOVE-REALITY (uber-reality, uber-photography?)
America: our supreme value is liberty (freedom). Liberty: to be a free person. Liber = free.
What I’m observing in modern society:
Tech elite on top, Uber drivers and social media share croppers on bottom.
Question:
What is the sociological significance of this?
My thoughts:
I recognize that all is permitted, all is allowed. Freedom of individual choice, activity and thinking is my apex.
In praise of not having a phone.
Morphology: how we look.
Now my question:
How does morphology matter?
Also:
How and why do others treat us a certain way (stereo-typing) us based on how we look?
The purpose of life: to make art.
With the internet, modern technology etc … we are effectively mortal gods. We will die (and must die), but our technology makes us gods.
Against race notions; more towards a species-focused (homo sapien, human) perspective.
I don’t care too much for politics. Why? Philosophy and art will remain; politics comes and goes.
A look into my writing process:
In praise of quitting sugar.
I am one of the least fearful people I know. How did I become this way, and how can you become less fearful as well? Some of my thoughts:
Composition — so fun! The geometry, shapes, forms, vectors, movement and elegant austere beauty in math.
Perhaps to live a more epic and grand life … strive to live with LESS FEAR. To position yourself in life to feel less fear, experience less fear. Figuring out what you’re afraid of, and cutting out the irritants which stimulate your fear [social media, news, negative toxic people, etc].
To be empirical: “empeirosâ€; having experienced or practiced a thing. Thus empiricism is perhaps skepticism of knowledge, and using your own real life experiences as a judge and guide of knowledge.

Color is beautiful in photography, but for me, I think monochrome is more beautiful.
Why is this? My thoughts:
To be a skeptic [skeptomai in Greek] means to look at, examine, consider. Thus to be a skeptic is a sign of wisdom. To think deeply about things, to not get suckered seems to be positively beneficial in this life we live.
My personal code of ethics:
I can only talk about my personal (real life) experiences.
Also:
My personal truths are not universal ones.
Also:
I can and should only recommend things that I do or have bought with my money.
Further:
Act on the internet as if however I acted, what I did behind closed doors were leaked.
A thought:
Perhaps striving for some ultimate ‘truth’ is the red herring in the room. Instead; perhaps what we really want is more power. More power, influence, resources, growth … more.
In life, always be careful of the red herring … the distraction. The thing you think what you think you should be focusing on, but in truth — we should focus on something else or other issues.

Archimedes. Math diagrams. Pure and austere beauty … useful for composition as well.

Money, moneta … essentially the temple of Juno where coin-money was minted.
In some ways, coin money is more ancient than paper money. Paper money (and more recently Bitcoin and crypto-currency) is a more recent phenomenon.
Thus when we think of money … what do we really mean to talk about money? And how can we make (more) of it?

You don’t need a crew or squad or any one else. You must rely on your own mind, body, legs, muscle — your own inner wealth.
We all got dealt different cards in life. So why complain? Just bluff. Get buff, and get swole.
Know that this whole world is your chance. No second glance; seize it today … now is your chance.

Realization:
To shoot street photography takes far more social courage than shooting a riot, a protest.
Why? In other scenarios, you’re expected to make photos. It is your job. But if you’re just shooting random street photography, you must posit yourself as an end unto yourself.
