Namque pauci libertatem, pars magna iustos dominos volunt. – Sallsut
- Few men desire freedom, the greater part desire just masters. – Sallust
Do you desire to become dominant and the master, or do you simply want a “just†master or rule over you?
₿LOG
Brave new world of blogging, publishing, creating, sharing, and building:
I make art. Thus I’m an artist.

The ultimate test:
do you enjoy looking more at your own artwork, or the artwork of others?
The goal: prefer looking at your own artwork, your own body, your own face, your own self above others!

More fun to build, make, modify, customize, or transfigure stuff than to buy stuff!
Why deadlifts can transform the world (and you!)
What is the worst hate? Self-hate.
We are all one race — the human race.
My #1 skill in life? Social skills.
IN LIFE, you’re always becoming (more of) you.
We are all into superhero movies and such. But what if your own life were a movie, and YOU were the hero?
WHAT IS IN YOUR CONTROL? The ability to exert courage and bravery. Also, to NOT exert cowardice.
Everything else is up to lady fate.
You are your own ultimate self-experiment. See how far you can take yourself:
Why Strive Towards the Best?
How do we grow? My theory:
When you damage yourself, your body learns to re-build itself, and become STRONGER than it was before [super-compensation].
Why I like failing a lot:!
Health isn’t as a duty to society. Rather — health as a means to maximize your own personal power and creative power!
What’s free?
A brave new world of social class:
The apex social class might have less cash, but more freedom over their life.
Lawyers, bankers, programmers who get paid lots of money ($200k a year) but who have NO freedom over their lives and schedules are the new slave class.
A-la Nassim Taleb’s idea:
To live a greater life, embrace the ‘barbell’ strategy and philosophy to life.
For example:
What holds us back? The nagging thought:
If I only had equipment x, y, or z — I could become a greater, more inspired, and more productive creator.
This is false.
Real people: People in ’embodied reality’.
Fake people: People in a screen.
Which do you prefer?
When we empower others, we see a bit of ourselves in others.
When we empower others, we are technically empowering ourselves.
To see and treat others as ourselves — isn’t this the thought that can change the world for the better?
Conquer today as a fun test of your own strength and limits!
Naturally we are always changing. But don’t change yourself according to the idealized vision of others.
Instead, be proud of who you are. Your goal:
Continue to augment MORE of yourself!
An ism — the thought that your genetics or background trump over your effort, industry, and courage.
Working for stuff is more fun!
Less shame, more success:
Perhaps life is more fun and interesting when we self-posit an interesting life goal, and strive with all our strength to discover what our limit is. Then striving to SUPERSEDE that limit?
What if you could never travel for the rest of your life — you could only stay in your own city for the rest of your life? Could you still live a happy life?
Obviously we can. Some ideas:
Is entitlement a mortal sin?
Create today as if tomorrow won’t happen!
Perhaps being narcissistic and being into yourself can be one of the best things you can do:
When in doubt, invest in your own personal self-augmentation.
What’s the best form of photography? Photography which adds power to you and others.
If you believe in yourself, so will others!
When in doubt, just blog it.
What do we want? More power. Why? This is the principle of life.
Why do we consider it a mortal sin to be narcissistic?
Real truth is unsavory and bitter.
In life if you got the option, would you prefer to swim upstream or downstream?
Shyness as something that can be trained, overcome, and conquered!
To improve your photography, start powerlifting.
Powerlifting [deadlift, squats] to strengthen your legs, and more!
What will last, what won’t last?
Don’t make it too obvious.
My thought —
My thought —
Subtle. ‘God is in the details’.
In modern society, being shy is a huge disadvantage. Becoming less shy comes through training. Real thoughts:
The goal: yourself. You. My self.
You can only photograph who you are.
What are we more interested in — the individual or their art?
We are about to enter a BRAVE NEW WORLD of blogging, and creation on the internet.
My thoughts and vision:
Good advice from my best friend Steve Jobs:
Stay hungry, stay foolish.
Why do we have this obsession with free will? Some thoughts:
The best person to market yourself — not someone else’s product or brand — market yourself!
I work as an existential thing. My work produces meaning in my life. Also, being able to share my work with you is what makes my life worth living:
New interviews and vlogs with my buddies Cole Turner and Dylan Fan (both 19 years old!!!)
I am street photography. You are street photography. We are all street photography.
Just gave a quick and free workshop here in Providence, Rhode Island — sharing some quick ideas, tips, and pointers on shooting street portraits (and philosophy on street photography and people):
What new discoveries can you make about yourself and your own body?
Vlogging has improved my thinking:
I think better as I talk.
And with vlogging, I can walk and talk — the ultimate hybrid.
Also, talking is 1000x more efficient/effective than typing.
Lesson for myself:
Vlog more, blog less.
To reach your own personal artistic apex, obey yourself, your own opinion!
What is the apex? To become a philosopher.
When you see a fork in the road, go straight! (JAY-Z)
If life is an RPG, the funnest goal is to strive to level up yourself to the maximum, and BEYOND the maximum!

In Pokémon, there was a hack and glitch in which you can fight a glitch called “missing no†(missing number), which allowed you to catch Pokémon BEYOND level 99 (the maximum level of a Pokémon monster in the game). For example, I remember catching a Snorlax which was level 255.
The basic notion was that there was a “glitch†in the system which allowed you to go BEYOND the system. Perhaps like Kanye said,
I’m like the glitch in wreck it Ralph!
If reality is the game, we should delight on being a glitch or a “mutantâ€. Perhaps this is what will allow us to go BEYOND being just a “normal†person. The goal is to become a HYPER human.
Glitch society! Go “off codeâ€. Don’t follow social conventions or norms!
Treat yourself like the ultimate life experiment. Strive to see the limits of the human body (powerlifting), and also the limits of artistic digital creation!
We all consider entitlement as a bad thing— but why?
A new future for vlogging— street vlogging?
Currently what my body looks like:
The goal: for ourselves to become more beautiful.
How to do this? Some ideas:
Talk is cheap, action is expensive:
