The Upside of Poverty

I grew up in poverty and poor, and it was good for me. It hardened me, and made me more resilient to cruel fate.

Why I am highly suspicious of people who are trying to “help the poor”

What if a life of poverty is a better life? Of course nobody wants to be starving to death, but know that poverty strengthens us, hardens us.
