Is being scared a duty?
I’m not scared, yet everyone guilts me. They say you should be scared!
Others don’t want their fears de-legitimized.
Why do people feel so upset when they’re afraid and you’re not? Because:
If they don’t see you as afraid when they are… they feel small.
And how do they feel bigger? Trying to put you at their level, or better yet– BELOW their level.
Don’t be scared (if you don’t wanna be).
My simple suggestion:
If you don’t want to be scared, but others try to bully you into being scared… just ignore them and distance them from you.
