You control the steering wheel: know you can steer.

Street photography: the best way to fight the monotony of everyday life.
To fight the strife, of putting in 40-hour weeks
At a job that makes us bored and meek.

Dear friend,
I used to give one too many fudge ice cream sandwiches what others thought of me, my photography, and my life.
Now I can give one fuck less.

Dear friend,
What if we didn’t need or want the “best†in life– and we’re satisfied with the “goodâ€?

I’m not the best photographer, but I’m a great photographer.

Dear friend,
I don’t know about you, but I hate being bored. To me, boredom is worse than hell, or perhaps even death.

In photography and almost everything in life, BOLDNESS will elevate you from timidity to grandeur.

Be strong,
Eric

Yes. I got rich from photography (Cindy and I earn over $200,000 USD from photography), and I will share with you what worked for me:

Dear friend,
I always wanted to find my “style†in photography, and I think I’ve found it.

Dear friend,
I’m the most fearless person I know, certainly not the most humble, but I wanna share with you some of my personal remedies on how I overcame my fears in life, to become the best version of myself.

Now on its 2nd year, Streetfoto San Francisco will happen on June 5-11. We had a quick chat with Ken Walton, the organizer of Streetfoto on how he balances life, photography, putting San Francisco on center stage. (Interview by A.g. De Mesa)
A.g.: Aside from being the organizer of the Streetfoto, you’re a very dedicated father, an avid traveler, and a very active photographer yourself. How do you pull this off and balance everything?!
Ken: As for how I pull it all off – it’s not easy, and my time management skills are really not all that great, but when I’m really passionate about something, I do the work of ten men. It’s also pretty difficult to get me to reply to an email for several months a year.

Dear friend,
I think a lot of us are trying to find more meaning and purpose in our lives– and using photography as a tool for self-knowledge and discovery.

Dear friend,
I think the one thing that can fix all the world’s problems would be compassion.

If you want to become an entrepreneur, to make more money, gain more power over your life, more freedom, more autonomy– you need to become a creator.

Dear friend,
It was always one of my life dreams to do photography and blogging for a living. And now I’m doing it. I want to write you this manual on how to do it– based on my experiences.

I’ve been thinking a lot of how photography can help empower us in life, and make us happier.

Dear friend,
I believe street photography is the best tool to become not only a stronger photographer, but human being.

Dear friend,
I think film photography is better than digital photography — I’ll share with you my opinion.

Dear friend,
I wanna write you a letter on how and why you should cut cancerous people out of your life, using my own life story as an example:

Dear friend,
I’m gonna give you some contrarian (not ‘common-sense’) advice on how to become a viral photographer — someone whose message, ideas, and images will spread like a virus.

I’m one of the most productive people I know, and I never procrastinate on what is important to me.

Dear friend,
I think I am the best photography marketer alive. I wanna share my secrets with you.

“Consult your conscience; rather than popular opinion.†– Pubilius Syrus
We generally give credence to our brains, and our “rationality†more than our gut, intuition, and feelings.

Dear friend,
If you knew your iPhone battery was only at 5% left — what would you do and not do with your remaining charge?

Dear friend,
If you’ve ever felt afraid, scared or shitty– know that street photography can empower you.

“What’s the difference between really believing your ideals, and sticking to them?†– Elon Musk
There are no ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ ideals out there.

Dear friend,
I wanna tell you a sad truth: passive income is a myth for the majority of people.

You’re standing in a tar pit. You look down at your feet, and you see the jet black sludge dragging you into this pit of doom.

CINDY: I remember as a kid, when summer rolled around and I could not wait to get out of class and finally get to do all the things I wanted to do: sleep in, read more books, learn the cello, write my short story, etc.

Dear friend,
If you wanna succeed in business you need to learn how to become a master at marketing.

Dear friend,
I wanna give you my secrets in terms of how I get a lot of shit done, how I have earned $200,000+ USD a year (credit to Cindy), how we saved over $150,000+, how I deadlift over 400 pounds, and how I was able to conquer all of my fears.
