Weight *Lifter* vs Weight *Presser*

Perhaps the only good types of weightlifting are the ones in which you actually lift the weights, while standing up. Not while lying on your back or some other strange position?

This means that all pressing motions are out. No bench press, Shoulder press, military press, etc. No “press – ups” as the Brits call it.

Bodily Comportment

A concept I learned from Cindy; comportment. How one holds and carries their body, how one uses or doesn’t use physical space etc.

For example, a very simple idea. Please don’t stand up straight, shoulders back, chin up. Maybe having some sort of basic military or ROTC program in K-12 education is a good idea?

Boy Scouts, now that I think about it, almost kind of like a pseudo-military general training program. How to lead, how to set a good example, strong virtues.

Thoughts on video games

My personal thought is being a kid who played a lot of video games growing up, it was simply because I do not have some sort of father figure who was actually available to engage, stimulate, and adventure me.

I think there are definitely lots of myths to video games, in terms of creativity, fantasy, as well as notions of advancement. Yet at the end of the day, if you’re playing some sort of role-playing game, in which you’re strengthening your character, making yourself more dominant and strong, isn’t it better to just build your own real life muscles instead?

“Improve”?

What does it mean to “improve”? And also, what does it mean to “improve” a home or a house? Also how to improve your life?

To improve— to advantage. Prode — prosum, I am.

To improve to be useful. But for what and towards what?

She/He’s a Coward.

People who avoid eye contact, who lie, who always have to “explain” things to you. Cowards.
