How to Clear Your Mind
The emptier your mind, the more opportunities for growth.
First of all, is your desire to attain a clear mind?
What is the upside of having a clear mind?
For me, the goal is to think and philosophize. From the Zen/Taoist notion:
In order to think, empty your mind of other superfluous noise and junk.
What to subtract?
- Subtract the news and social media
- Subtract eating food during the day (break your fast once the sun goes down)
- Ignore any current events of today. The goal is ultimate longevity as an artist.
- No more fear of death, pain, disease. Fear is the ultimate fetter to your personal freedom.
- Clear mind = more opportunities to think, create, make and wonder!
