Why I love to shoot videos of my food, or the food of others. Simple reasons:
1. See the details!
When I shoot videos of my steak (RICOH GR III in 1080p, 60fps in cross process mode) I discovered — whoa … the growth patterns of the marbling and the fat in the steak and flesh look like a tree! A fractal pattern! Am I the first to have realized this?
2. We all love food
When I shoot videos of my food then review the videos I remember:
Oh yeah … that is what I ate! And it was great!
And also associated with it … all the great memories *associated* with the meal. For example the people you ate it with, how you felt, etc.
