Like Yourself

A pre-requisite in life:

Like yourself.

If you don’t like yourself, how do you expect others to like you?

Do you like how you look?

We cannot control or change how we look biologically. We cannot change our height, our facial features, etc. We can do simple things like change our haircut, bodyfat percentage, muscle mass, clothing, etc. But in terms of how our face looks, we cannot change that.

I personally love the way I look. And if there is anything I’ve ever hated about myself was when I had a higher bodyfat percentage. This was easily remedied through intermittent fasting (no breakfast or lunch), following a ‘ketogenic‘ diet (no carbs, sugar– only fatty meats and eggs), and through working out (deadlift + powerlifting).

Like your artistic creations

Before you ask others whether they like your art-works or not, ask yourself:

Do I like my own artistic creations?

If so, keep making them and sharing them! If not, figure out for yourself:

Why don’t I like my artworks? What is the missing piece or gap here? How can I change/modify my artistic process to make photos that I love and am proud of?

What are your life goals?

You have the power to dictate your own life goal and purpose in life. There ain’t a “right” or “wrong” here. Only authentic and inauthentic.

Dictate what you deem is a life goal worthy of you. Then pursue it with all of your might. And along the way– determine whether you are having fun, whether you are liking this journey, and whether you derive personal meaning from it!

Create things you like

It is very simple. Keep making art-works which you personally like, and share these art-works with others!
