Manual transmission is good for you?
The number one issue is when you’re driving and stuck in a car a long time, your hips get insanely tight. Maybe the upside of having a manual transmission car is that pushing the clutch pedal actually allows for some sort of hip exercise.
Also the upside of shifting with your right hand, allows for a little bit more interest.

HOW TO GET LEAN
Super simple. Intermittent fasting, no breakfast no lunch. Also, 100% carnivore diet, no weed no alcohol. The only non-meat item is either kale without dressing, or just kimchi with no sugar added.
I typically have my one massive meal a day dinner time around 6:30 PM. Ideally sleep around 9:30 PM or 10:30 PM.
Also the only beverages I consume include plain water, and black coffee.
Also, no vegetables, no fruit, no rice, no starches, no carbs, no dairy, etc.

What is a Tyrant?
A tyrant is somebody who is superimposes certain things on you, telling you that it is “good for you“.
For example, let us say that you’re in the garage, doing work, with both lights on. A tyrant is somebody who comes into the room, tells you that you only need one light, and turns off one light, and then leaves.
What is the problem with this type of behavior?
First of all, you are doing your own thing, and not really doing any harm to anyone else, or also you’re not causing some sort of excessive money use. The difference of having one light versus two lights might be pennies at best.
Second, you’re just by yourself. And you’re actually using it. I understand if your type of behavior affects others, but when it is just yourself, you should just be left alone.

Photo, Video, and the Future

Photo, Video, and the Future
Just spent the last two days in LA, at UCLA, and I’m feeling insanely inspired. Why? Some thoughts:
The first observation that I have made is that it looks like media, entertainment, shows, cinema film vlogs, are the future. Why? Let us just look at all of the advertising and the new products; all of the new interesting digital cameras are all centered around video and vlogging, and also making cinema. Think about the new compact canon cinema camera, and also the new Panasonic Lumix cameras which are phenomenal for vlogging and video. And cinema.
What do nerds and everybody share in common?
It doesn’t matter who you are, it looks like everybody loves media. For example, all nerds like to watch TV shows, cinema, films, entertainment etc.
Also if you think about all age groups, whether it be newborn kids, kids, toddlers, teenagers, adults, middle-age people, the elderly, etc.; everybody watches YouTube, and or Netflix or something like that.
What can you do about it?
Everyone has different life goals and different life pursuits. For myself, I am interested in directing our energies towards things that we can actually do ourselves, with no gate keepers, no restrictions, 100% freedom and control.
It seems that the most straightforward answer then is having the ability to record videos, and just upload them online, whether it be to YouTube or your own self hosted videopress.com account (linked with your WordPress.org Website Blog) via WordPress.com
Why self hosted video instead of YouTube?
First of all, the simplest and most straightforward way to build your own solo media empire is just making a website blog via bluehost.com and installing wordpress.org. Own your own domain. Ideally your first name last name .com, or you could just make it your first name last name photo .com, or your first name last name photography .com.
For example, I own Erickim.com, Erickimphotography.com, as well as Erickimphotography.com/blog.
In the very long term, your domain name, and your website name, and the .com domain will be critical.
Why .com? To me it is the only legitimate domain name, something that everyone can actually remember. Let us consider google.com, facebook.com, twitter.com, apple.com, amazon.com, etc.
What is the goal?
The reason why I am more interested in using smaller and lower resolutions, for example 720 P, 24 FPS or 30 FPS, smaller file sizes is this:
Your video files will upload and process 100 times faster than in higher video formats, even compared to 1080P, 4K, 5K, etc.
And the question is this; in the context of the video you create, are you creating it for the pleasure and entertainment of others, or, is it for your own benefit, to propagate your own thoughts?
I say the primary motive should be for your own benefit. The fact that others may watch it is just an added benefit. The number one critical factor is that you yourself enjoy publishing it.
The equipment
Currently speaking, the best equipment to have include the Ricoh GR 3X, GoPro Mini, iPad Pro. Beyond this, everything seems superfluous.
Now what?
The first and ultimate priority is to build up your own website. Your own website blog etc. is the ultimate ephemeral tool to create your own empire.
Do not use Facebook, Instagram, even Twitter; these are all slave services.
Let us consider, when you upload your photos, videos, comments and ideas, etc., you create “free“ content for the platform, and then the platform sneakily insert advertising in between your content. They make money off of your unpaid labor.
Therefore, just stop using Facebook Instagram Twitter, etc. Better yet, just delete your Instagram. The simple creativity and productivity hack is via negativa; deleting, removing, or subtracting social media services will allow you to become at least 10,000 times more innovative, creative and motivated.
And the simple heuristic or rule of thumb:
Anything you might otherwise post to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, just post to your own blog instead.
But what about my “engagement“?
Would you rather be a Harvard or a Cal State Fullerton? Would you rather have a few elite students, and a small and curated student body cap size, or would you rather have hundreds of thousands of students, and let everyone in?
Funny enough, it seems that we have this funny bifurcation; on one hand we think that the higher the number of people means more success. But the same time we realize that exclusivity is actually a desired trait as well.

DEFENSE.
Fact sheet on US SECURITY assistance to Ukraine:

Also 31 more Abrams tanks. Apparently one tank costs around $10 million dollars USD.
Also, Ukraine drives 50% increase in arms sales. From $35 billion to $52 billion dollars USD.

Substantive Innovation
As solo innovators, let us seek to make substantive innovations. This means seeking substantive innovations not just by purchasing things, but we ourselves are the innovators.

How has Apple become so lame?
One fun thing is I always go to the apple.com website, just because I’m curious about the marketing material, how things are structured, etc.
Now, Apple is just plain boring. Nothing is interesting nothing is enticing, etc. Ever since Steve Jobs has died, and then finally Jony Ive left the company, Apple has been doing a slow decline towards mediocrity. Essentially the nerds have taken over; all of their efforts are now on their M series chip, and just making their devices more powerful, rather than substantial design innovation.
Also something that people don’t understand; nobody really cares about privacy. Rather, we care about innovation, what is sexy, etc. When companies talk too much about privacy, I don’t think they really understand human nature that well.
Also another thing; I am all about diversity and inclusion, etc., but I don’t really think it is the role or duty of companies to promote it. Whenever companies spend too much marketing efforts on “inclusion“, and “racial diversity“, I think their sights are misaligned.

WHY HYPELIFTING?
If you want to become more productive, stronger, happier, sleep better, eat better, have better digestion etc., it seems that hypelifting as the way.
Ever since I’ve gotten seven plates and beyond and hyper lifting, my self confidence is insanely insane. My self-confidence is so high, it has helped me so much in every day life, random social interactions, I’ve noticed more random people just approaching me and talking to me, my body is more demigod, and also it gives me more self confidence in life entrepreneur ship and also street photography.

PHYSIQUE THOUGHTS
Physique is all subjective. My simple suggestion is to craft your own ideal physique for yourself:

-
Greater selection is better.
This is why I prefer Whole Foods over Amazon fresh.
-
Stay away from perpetually unwell people
It is not your duty to make the unwell well.
-
On becoming more certain in your beliefs
Self certainty is a good thing to cultivate.

Why does the economy matter?
Because the economy is what keeps the people moving!

How to conquer the fear of weight lifting
To warm up, spend maybe around 15 minutes doing some sort of yoga stretching.
Also, put the safety pins in place, just in case you fail.
Third, just to slowly increase the weight, until you work up to your one repetition maximum weight.

Cash feels free?
Some bad news for fiat currency; let us assume you have a bunch of hundred dollar bills, hard cash just stowed away at your house, somewhere inside a sock drawer. Let us assume you have $1 million worth of cash at home.
Technically, the US federal reserve printing more money will cause your hard earned cash to become devalued. Why? More printing money and more currency in the economy in the world means that dollar per dollar, each of your dollars are actually worth less.
So what are we to do about this? One thought is to just use and spend more of your hard cash, printed hundred dollar bills, or $20 bills, whenever you have the chance. Maybe this is a good idea to stop using your credit card so much; better to use cash instead.
Also some thoughts about bitcoin and cryptocurrency; assuming that the upper limit of bitcoin is capped, this is a good sign for notions of money.
Currently the challenges with bitcoin is that it is still too slow to transfer, the lightning network seems like a good promise. At least the good thing with bitcoin is that it is a recognized currency, all of the other crypto currencies and coins seem to have a branding and PR issue.
Ideally moving forward, bitcoin will be the best type of currency in regards to big purchases. For example, buying a house or a car with bitcoin seems like a good idea. I still think that into the future, the US dollar and fiat currency will persist, but rather, they will still just be used for a smaller every day purchases.
Also, I predict that Tesla will start accepting bitcoin again to purchase their cars into the future. Maybe also into the future, Apple will accept bitcoin to buy their iPhone pros, etc.
I am also very certain that in the future, once you could easily link up your cryptocurrency wallet, and your bitcoin to your Amazon prime account, making Amazon and Amazon prime purchases will be a viable option with cryptocurrency.
Also, what is the biggest issue with trading stock nowadays? The annoyance and the slowness of having to link up your trading account, get some inexperienced guy to link up and set up your account, etc. It is all too slow and cumbersome. Some sort of crypto technology which makes trading easier is the future.
For example, let us say that I want to buy a bunch of Tesla stock. Yet I do not have an official trading account. If I want to suddenly put $250,000 into Tesla stock, and I do not yet have an approved JP Morgan trading account, I might lose up to tens of thousands of dollars in my delay, even the slowness of trading by a day.
Moral of the story; keep thinking about crypto technology, bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I still regularly check up on chain-link, even though I currently do not own any. Currently all I have is 100% bitcoin. Once I find some thing enticing enough, I might do some trading.
Is Ethereum the future? I don’t think so. Why? Ethereum 2.0 and the split is a sign of a bad technology, and also, 99.99% of people have no idea what it is, how it works, or even how to pronounce it. Just try to get your English as a second language mom to pronounce, spell, or remember the word “Ethereumâ€. However your mom could still remember and pronounce bitcoin.
So maybe if you have the option right now, start buying more Bitcoin. And hoarding for the future!

Maybe I am the difficult one to live with
Then as a reminder to self, maybe I should be the one who is more forgiving to others.
-
GODLY STRENGTH.
My only fitness goal.
-
BLACK IS A PRIVILEGE.
For example, core black Lululemon clothing is never on sale or clearance. You always have to pay full price for a black Lululemon clothing. Therefore, if you pull up wearing all black Lululemon clothing, it is actually a sign and signal of your wealth.
Also black cars. Black cars are notoriously difficult to keep clean and well-maintained. Therefore, owning a black car is a signal that you’re rich enough, to maintain it, keep it clean, wax and polish it, etc.
-
ELITE SOLDIERS.
My ideal type of elite soldier can deal well with fasting; no need for breakfast or lunch, things which slow you down.
Also, assuming that we want to forge the most elite soldiers, we should feed them the most nutrient dense meats known to man. Ideally 100% grass fed meat, the finest cuts of beef. Beef ribs, beef neck bone, beef liver, beef large intestine, etc.
Also, what not to feed them, or what not to let them consume. From what I understand, the military is insanely strict when it comes to scheduling, fitness, working out, etc., but from what I understand, the food and beverage situation is horrific. Why allow them consume sugary monster and rockstar energy drinks? Only allow them to drink black coffee.
Also, do not allow them to eat sugars, starches, or anything which increases their body adipose tissue. Only build muscle.
Furthermore, weight lifting. Insanely heavy weight lifting is the goal.
-
Thinking Time
Just walking around, no headphones on, the best time to think.
In theory you could also think while driving, with no music or podcasts on, but thinking while walking is at least 1000 times better.
1000x thinking.
-
The better you take care of yourself, the better you could take care of others
In praise of working out at least once or twice a day.
-
Kill two birds with one stone
For example, the upside of walking to the gym, even though it takes more time is that as you walk, you are technically getting “exerciseâ€, and also as an entrepreneur, you come up with lots of great ideas.
Then it seems that the path to living the greatest possible life is strategizing your life in such a way that you could kill many birds with few stones.
-
THE PLATFORM IS KING
For example, everyone seems to be obsessed about how many billions of views to get, but why doesn’t anyone ever think; the most impressive thing is a platform hosting the views.
-
PHOTO STRATEGY.
Something that is insanely essential is one’s photo strategy for things.
-
How to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit
Cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit is mostly a teaching thing. For example, not giving your kid handouts, and teaching them that they can become self-sufficient, and innovate and entrepreneur on their own.
-
Democratizing photography
Why I love the Ricoh gr 3X so much is that it democratizes photography. Anybody using it, shooting high contrast black and white and JPEG will create phenomenal images.
Then the goal isn’t to make good images, but simply, to capture photos and things that are personally meaningful to you.
