RICOH GR III as the best camera of all time:
1. Macro is king
Macro opens up soooo many new photographic opportunities. There is no better camera than RICOH GR III in macro mode.
2. The best black and white JPEG monochrome rendering
At this point, I think I can safely say that RICOH GR III high contrast black and white JPEG mode is actually *SUPERIOR* to black and white film (even Kodak Tri-X 400 pushed to 1600).
3. The best camera for personal photography
To photograph personal things; this is the apex. Personal photography. I still rate RICOH GR III as at least 100x better than iPhone Pro in terms of high ISO capabilities, and the overall monochrome aesthetic. Also the tactile focus on the RICOH GR III (having a physical shutter button, and also exposure compensation dials) is supreme.
