Life is a never-ending photo project:
The upside of having a kid
Ever since his birth, photographing Seneca (my son) I have been endlessly fascinated with his growth, development, and of course– photographing him.
Ironically people see having a kid as being a ‘cramp on their style’ or an impediment to their personal happiness, independence and such. But in fact, I’ve found having a child to be the best thing ever — the greatest motivation in life, and the greatest sense of purpose in life.
Certainly not everyone *needs* to have kids, and there is no ‘you must have children’. However if you’re on the fence about it, I highly recommend it.
Even if your purpose in life is to maximize your photography, having a child is the ultimate stimulus and motivation.
