Fits great on my xpro-2. Had another leather wrist strap that came with the leather half case for this camera but over time, I found this strap to be too thin and felt like it was cutting / pinching my wrist after a full day of shooting. This strap is wider, softer and therefore comfortable to wear all day. You feel like you have a solid connection with your camera, especially when shooting street style. Good to support an artist.

If you don’t know Eric Kim, he is a talented street photographer with a terrific blog. It’s really more than a blog, it’s a terrific educational tool for budding street photographers that contains not only extensive blog posts but full-length downloadable books as well. Truly great stuff, I’ve learned a ton from him. When I saw that he was selling a leather camera strap of his own design I knew I had to try it – a camera strap designed by a photographer, this could be good. And it is! The strap is beautifully made from high-quality leather and very cleverly packaged. It looks, feels and smells great and does it’s job well. I’m 6’4″ tall and my only concern was whether it was going to be long enough for me. No problem, it fits me perfectly and puts the camera right where I want it. I can’t wait to see how the leather patinas as I continue to use it, I have little doubt it will age well.
I recommend the Henri strap very highly and will likely pick up another one as a backup.

Might be the only high quality leather strap that works with the Leica D-Lux 7 Case

I wanted a leather wrist strap that I could use with the carrying case that’s made for my Leica D-Lux 7. Mind you, this case fits like a glove; so much that the nylon strap provided with my camera at purchase wouldn’t even fit inside, so I had to do my research on options here.
I am very happy with the packaging and quality of the Eric Kim Strap and was pleasantly surprised that I can actually use it with my Leica Leather Case. The only way the magnetic clasp of the case would still feel secure when closed is when the strap lays across the camera body as shown in my photo. I can live with this and I think it will lay even nicer as the strap breaks in.
The only modification that was necessary was rolling the adjustable slide around so the button didn’t make contact with my camera body when inside the case. The slide is tight enough that it wouldn’t roll on its own which is nice to not have to worry about scratching my camera.
I hope this review helps others who are hesitant about trying this strap. I know I am relieved and this configuration will do just nicely until I decide which half case to buy….and then the search for a case and strap starts all over again :-)
