Asians don’t see their job is their identity, whereas Americans do.

Therefore, if your goal is to maximize both your income and your passion, maybe it is best to further separate and barbell the two. For example, it seems I have made far more money in cryptocurrency speculation then in photography and teaching workshops and selling products.
