LUXURY GOODS?
The interesting thing about luxury goods; there are certain low-key luxury goods which are very good. Ultra fine merino wool— a luxury, but no obvious branding. Only the wearer will know the difference.
Then there are certain “high key†luxury goods, in which an eminent brand logo or monogram is plastered, and it seems that the main purpose is for that object to be a totem of affluence. For example, a Mercedes Maybach logo, Rolls-Royce emblem, the Lamborghini script, etc. Or the Hermès “H†logo.
Certainly there are certain luxury goods which actually make your life better. For example, if you’re planning to do a long road trip in a car, having a car which has better noise isolation, doesn’t move around as much, and has better shock absorbers is superior.
Then the ideal is that on the outside it looks plain and obvious and generic, but on the inside, or the actual material is supreme.
For example, the ideal would actually be a debadged Rolls-Royce, and on the outside, it doesn’t look like a Rolls-Royce. No pantheon chrome grill, no spirit of ecstasy hood emblem, no “RR†logo. Just make it look like a plain car from the outside.
For example, at this point it seems that Leica cameras, especially the Leica M rangefinder camera is more of a luxury good rather than a pragmatic tool. Then a very interesting trend is getting rid of the red logo, and all the emblems. It becomes more of a “low key†flex.
Even the funny thing is that the Leica MP, or the “P†notion is that it is Professional, and professionals do not want to attract any attention towards them so, therefore to get rid of all the red emblems and the script, and just make it all black and stealth. The film Leica MP stands for Leica-M(Professional).
Maybe Apple should also be the same; technically the iPhone Pro should be more low key and stuff. Now, it seems that the iPhone Pro is more flashy, you know it immediately based on the stainless steel edges, and the triple camera cluster on the back. A true iPhone Pro phone should be all matte black.

SKINNY-WEAK
To be a little bit more specific about aesthetics here, it is not just “skinny fat“, it is skinny-weak.
What is the difference? The feminine aesthetic is to be skinny, however, they lack any muscle mass, and just end up looking frail. Not attractive nor beautiful.

Where are the best places to shoot steeet photography in Seoul South Korea?
Based on my experiences:
- Myeungdong market (LIFE WORK CAFE on Google Maps). Near the Myeundgong station.
- Gangnam station (on the #2 green line)
- Hongdae (Hongkik national university)— call street graffiti and college vibes
- Itaewon: traditionally where the US military was based, but apparently a new hip and upcoming area.
- Sinsa, Sinsadong
- Namdaemun market — there is also a good camera shopping area in Namdaemun.
The good thing to know is that Google maps actually works really well in Seoul South Korea. The bus and Subway information is up-to-date, very accurate and easy to navigate.

Vision canceling glasses?
We currently have noise canceling headphones. Perhaps also a good idea is vision canceling glasses, in which perhaps you could wear some sort of glasses that automatically block out advertisements from your view.

LOW KEY COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY
Fujifilm X pro3, classic chrome JPEG setting, low-key, -3 exposure composition looks interesting.
-
XPRO3 FOR COLOR
The Fujifilm XPRO3 is very good for color photography, especially at high ISO. I really like the JPEG classic chrome setting.
-
Fujifilm X-Pro3 is insanely fast, quiet and accurate
Especially with the electronic shutter mode. Probably at least 1 billion times better than even a Leica M11.
-
SUPERNATIONAL
To think nationally is too small. Rather, we must think super-nationally, above and beyond the nation.
Doesn’t matter if you’re top 10 in your own nation, if you’re unknown abroad or globally, internationally, transnationally.

Information stream
Keep the information stream flowing

Who do you desire to cater to?
Do you desire to cater to the masses, or the majority? Or to the elite minority?
-
Unlimited doesn’t mean fast.
“Unlimited†data is a trick — only a small number of GB is fast until you get throttled. Unlimited throttled internet is almost useless.
-
The most important technology is fast charge technology.
A car doesn’t need to have that much range, given that there are uber-fast charging stations! For electric to win, it must be faster than filling up your tank — by 10x?
-
EVERYDAY, FEAST.
When you break your fast, every day have an insanely epic feast — just like the ancient Greeks.
-
Charging Managment
Having to charge stuff is insanely annoying and inconvenient.
The more stuff you gotta charge, devices your car batteries etc, the worse.
-
Other places are actually not as good as you think they are?
For example, when I was in Cambodia, I was really excited to go to Korea, because I imagine that the Wi-Fi would be insanely fast. This is actually not the case. The Wi-Fi here is actually very slow.
Perhaps the only people in Korea with fast 5G Internet are tethered to some sort of cumbersome data plan with a huge telecom company.
-
Don’t use old motifs
For example, the motif of having an emblem on the hood of your car, like the Rolls-Royce spirit of activity, or a jaguar is antiquated. For new cars, or innovative new designs, this concept should not be integrated
-
I don’t like chargers
Is there a way we could just get rid of chargers?

No apologies.
Apologies are dishonest?

Hyundai Genesis needs a new logo
The current Hyundai Genesis logo is lame; the wings are a antiquated notion, and also having a logo that says the word Genesis in the center is bad.
What genesis needs instead is some sort of timeless logo, something similar to a Nike swoosh.

Bicycles are ugly
Better to just walk instead.
