Life After Success

What do you do with your life, when you’ve achieved all your life dreams, and no longer need or desire anything?

Some simple and quick thoughts:

  1. Having the privilege to walk much, striving to walk at least 30,000 steps a day.
  2. The focus on creation, no more need for the money making profit motive. To create educational materials, to create physical products, and to create ephemeral products. To pursue things which interests you, and to share and deliver things to people that you love, do you think they will also love.
  3. To share and propagate your ideas. To share and publish your ideas via email newsletters and blog posts. Or via podcast and YouTube vlogs.
  4. After you’ve reached financial independence, the desire to still do things. A life of endless experimentation, self experimentation, recreation, and innovation. The desire to become rich and retire as a red herring (not the real goal, a distraction). What we just desire to do is do more of what we are passionate for.
  5. To pursue more random things which interest us, without concern of how popular the ideas may be. Rather, the goal seems to be to reach a smaller yet more select and elite group of people. In other words, better for your ideas to reach five extremely influential people, then to reach 5 million random people.
  6. The will to philosophy and art. To philosophize more on aesthetic matters, moral and ethical matters, artistic matters, etc.
