Truth be told all my friends are miserable, none of them (besides my friend Kevin) is happy. Why? My thoughts:

1. Social comparison

What non-Silicon valley folks don’t understand:

I don’t get it … you make $200,000 a year … but are depressed? What right do you have to be depressed when so many other (unprivileged people) are suffering in the world!

I see all suffering as equal. No pain olympics here, or suffering olympics. It don’t matter how rich or poor you are; if you suffer, you suffer.
