Why am I becoming more muscular and getting more ‘gains‘ in the park vs the gym? Some thoughts:
Upsides of the park
- Fresh air (good for the brain and body)
- Free! The best price.
- You can be however loud or obnoxious you want to be
- More fun! You feel like a kid again. I have soooo much fun throwing around rocks and stuff.
- More social. You can chat with new strangers. More diversity; you meet folks from all walks of life.
Benefits of gym
- Certain exercises you can do (deadlift, squat, very heavy dumbbell press/bench).
- Powerlifting
