What do we desire? More power. But how do we gain more power, and for what?
What do trees want?
If we think about the wisdom of trees — let us ask:
What do trees want?
Trees desire:
- To grow taller
- To burrow her roots deeper into the soil
- To derive more nutrition from the sun, soil, etc.
- To spread her seeds.
How is man different from trees? Perhaps we aren’t!
Why gain more power?
The question:
What is the pragmatic benefit of having more power?
From a biological perspective:
- Having more children
- Having more children … spreading our genes and propagating our genes (perhaps indefinitely?)
- The humanistic desire for more social power over other human beings and also domination over nature and eternal reality
- The desire for improved nutrition (more meat), and also a more beautiful body? (more weight lifting, more muscle).
- The desire for more sexual dominance? This is what motivates men to get loud and flashy sports cars… to “flex” on other men to feel dominant, but perhaps in the desire to acquire more female mates? (the thought that having a sexier sports car will help you get sexier women to sleep with you, and perhaps have children with you?)
How to gain more power?
Well — let us talk physiology. More power means:
- More physiological power. more sprightliness. More movement in our legs. More desire to move, dance, walk further. Jump further. Stand more, explore more.
- This means more meat consumption. More fatty and delicious meat.
- More muscle mass. This means lifting heavier weights, attempting more physically challenging things. More physical challenges we like to overcome.
- More coffee, tea, and water consumption during the day. More fasting during the day for maximal power.
What do we do with more power?
For us artists, it seems this:
If we have more physiological power, then we have more power to create more art works!
Art works meaning:
- More photos
- More videos
- More articles
- More books
- More writing
- More poems
- More visual imagery, etc.
Then what?
Then it seems the joy is to keep creating more, to keep exploring more, to keep discovering more and keep wondering more! It seems there is no end ;; the goal is to indefinitely keep creating more, and becoming more and more artistically fruitful!
Conclusion
Never stop making and creating art!
