A new way to experience photography:

What is ‘video’?

In Latin, ‘video‘ means: to see. If we take it to the Proto-Indo-European, we get to the notion of ‘weyd‘, which means also “to know“.

So in simple terms,

When we see something, we believe we understand and know it.

Why is there a perceived difference between video and photo?

For some reason, photographers and ‘video-graphers’ tend to put themselves into different camps. But to me, they are simply the opposite sides of the same coin.

I believe that photographers should shoot more videos, and more videographers should shoot more photos.

To shoot video or photo requires visual skill and acuity. Why don’t we build ALL aspects of our visual skill — to build our skills in capturing still photos and moving photos.
