It seems that the modern day bias is that we’re always trying to force ourselves to work more, and be more productive. However, maybe it is better for us to force ourselves to sleep earlier, for example, very early on, turning off the lights at home, forcing yourself not to look at any screens, forcing yourself not to work, and jumping into bed unusually early, with your eye mask on, and your earplugs in.
Even though you may need to lie in bed, for an hour or two, not doing anything, at least this gives your mind a chance to think, unwind, and process the day.
