The best way to become something is to try not to become it?

For example, when writers try too hard to become writers, they end up becoming poor writers.

Or the same thing with actors; people who try too hard to become actors end up not becoming actors?

Another thought; people who end up studying car design almost never become car designers as a real occupation?

I wonder if the same thing is with fashion as well; people who study fashion, and fashion design end up not becoming real fashion designers.

I didn’t suppose what this means is that maybe it is not a good strategy to go to school for some sort of specialty thing.

For example, I never went to art school, nor studied photography. Yet I am the most successful photographer I know!

Perhaps the reason why it is best not to study the thing is that it allows you to think outside of the box, to think more uniquely and creatively. To innovate harder.
