A problem in photography:

There is too much emphasis on whether or not it took ‘skill’ to make a certain photo or not.

However, the reason why this is a bad line of thinking is that the ‘skill’ of the photographer isn’t his or her prowess with the camera, technical settings etc, but rather … the visual acuity of their eye!
