It seems that the problem about many of these companies is that there are no real visionaries at the helm. It seems that what a lot of people try to do is this:

Package up a company, like Lucid, and try to IPO it and sell it on the market.

Perhaps the only companies which will persist are the ones with true visionaries at the helm. The ones who truly have soul in the game (Nassim Taleb). Like Elon Musk.

Then perhaps, all other companies are doomed to fail, or to simply persist into mediocrity.
