40mm over 28mm
At first, I was not a fan of the 40 mm focal length. But after spending extensive time shooting both, I believe that the 40 mm focal length is actually superior to the 28mm focal length. Why?
First of all, 40 mm is better for shooting portraits. Also, it is more natural to what we see and our natural eye.
28mm is also great, but I think 40 mm is better.
Image quality
The image quality of the RICOH 3X looks way better. Why? Images are sharper, have a more 3-D pop, more image Fidelity, and it looks like it has even better dynamic range.
