Some random thoughts on my mind —
- One woman shouldn’t have to give birth to more than one child? Especially if your first kid is a male heir. Therefore, if your first kid is a boy, or a man, consider yourself insanely lucky and blessed, and just stop?
- In America, the golden standard is to have 2.2 kids, a dog, a house, a white picket fence, and 2.3 cars.
- Interestingly enough, when China had the one child policy, it seems that 90% of their population skewed towards just having one boy. Unfortunately it seems that this policy caused a lot of Chinese in mainland Chinese to abort babies, when they saw it was female.
- What does ancient Greek literature tell us? Well, Hector seem to have his queen, and one son, the heir. Achilles had no wife, no children, but instead chose immortal fame.
- Flexibility: isn’t it funny that when it comes to flexibility, it is seen as this strange acrobatic effeminate thing? Yet flexing your muscles is seen as a good, masculine thing? Let us consider that the word flex and flexible is the same word. And the word flex simply means “to bend“. Philosophically speaking, when is flexibility good, and when is it bad?
