Some thing I have discovered: almost everything in life, and even most design objects are far more similar than dissimilar. Many of the differences are superficial at best.

For example, almost all the cars are much more similar than dissimilar. It doesn’t seem that any car is 1000 times more different than any other car. The best way to be 1000 times more different is to not own a car.

With innovations, it does seem that the Tesla model S plaid is 1000 X faster than any other car that exists in the price range.

Also having owned a Subaru, having all wheel drive doesn’t really improve your life by 1000x.

Also with car designs, there doesn’t seem to really be a car that is 1000 times designed more interestingly than other cars. Maybe the closest thing is a Lamborghini Aventador with scissor doors.

Even owning a hybrid vehicle, doesn’t it make your life 1000 times better. It might make your life 1.5 times more convenient at best. Because you have to fill up your tank less often, but not 1000 times less often. That’s the take away is that upgrading your gasoline car to a hybrid vehicle want to change your life significantly. Therefore don’t do it.

All iPhones are pretty much the same

Nowadays it also seems that all the iPhones are much more similar than dissimilar. No iPhone will make your life 1000 times better. therefore it seems the optimal strategy is to just buy the cheapest and the smallest iPhone.

However being a long-term android and Samsung user, the software in the URUX of iPhone is definitely at least 1000 times better than any android phone. Thus, getting an iPhone instead of an android will probably improve your life for 1000 X. Same thing goes with MacBook laptops, they are at least 10,000 times better than any windows PC laptop.

It also does seem Apple AirPod Bluetooth headphones to work at least 1000 times better than any other Bluetooth headphone device.

Having a child *does* make your life 1000 times more meaningful

Plus one for having a kid. ever since having baby Seneca, my life has become 10 times harder, yet 1000 times more meaningful and fun.

Clothing

In hot and humid weather, merino wool is definitely at least 1000 times better than cotton or any other synthetic material.

Become 1000 times more interesting than anybody else

The take away is this: think about the 1000X difference, and whether it is affected or not.
