I’ve always loved minimalist compositions. But the question:
Why opt for minimalist compositions in photography?
Some thoughts:
More mysterious
The more minimalist your composition and the less you show, the more mystery you evoke in your photos.
Stronger
Simpler compositions as more effective and stronger?
Strength is the goal.
Thus when you’re out and shooting, strive to make the simplest composition possible. The fewest amount of distractions or noise — the maximal focus and signal (focus and strength of your subject):
