Digital photography is the future

Film is great and I love it, but digital is certainly the future. Also, I am starting to think that smartphone photography is a red herring and a Trojan horse. A RICOH GR III is at least 10x better than the iPhone Pro in performance, image quality and power … and even $100 cheaper. A $890 RICOH GR III is by far a superior investment than a $1000 iPhone Pro. My thought:

For a phone, just buy a phone. Best to buy a “standalone” digital camera separately.

For me, I just bought a $150 Android smartphone (brand new), and I will put the rest of my moneys towards buying meat, working out, and photo related things.
