Lumix is the King of Video
The best video by far: anything from Panasonic-Lumix. Do not get suckered by all these other brands (Sony, Fujifilm, etc) — Lumix is king.
Panasonic was first in the game
Panasonic was by far the first in terms of innovating video. I still remember my friend DeStorm Power using an early Panasonic G-camera to do his vlogs.
The best intelligent auto settings (iA mode)
The Panasonic cameras have an ‘iA mode’, which is brilliant. It works soooo well, and the colors come true to life. The best colors I have seen on any digital camera.
Technology changes quickly; the human hand doesn’t.
The brilliant thing about Panasonic-Lumix cameras:
Incredibly ergonomic.
Great feel in the hand and grip. Also … all the menu items, buttons, and dials make sense and are intuitive. By far the WORST UI/UX and ergonomics in cameras are probably in Sony cameras, and to an extend Fuji cameras (horrible UI/UX, although the grip is pretty good).
