Something on my mind:

When it comes to aesthetics in photography … do we want our aesthetics to look as much as ‘real life’ as possible, or do we prefer the more extreme — “un-reality”?

On black and white photography

Monochrome is fascinating; it looks as unreal as unreal can get. The point of monochrome ain’t to make it look like real life. No– it is to abstract reality.
