Consider– we as photographers are both image-makers and idea-makers. This is huge, because it means we have the power to shape, interpret, and mould reality to our own liking.
Consider how many forms of visual-image expression have YET been discovered!
I am very bullish on the future of photography. Consider everyone with an iPhone camera is also a photographer. This is fantastic, because it means photography is now the dominant art-creation form.
Why I’m so motivated
I am so motivated because I LOVE ART, I love photography, and I love democracy. I love the notion that anyone with an iPhone or any old camera can make images, art, and ideas. To me, the camera is the ultimate tool for the photographer/artist/visual-artist/philosopher.
