Life is too short to be average, or to strive to be average:

Mediocrity or average is easy.

To become average at something is easy. But it is also boring. Isn’t life more fun when you attempt to become the best?

Playing it safe is boring.

After getting a gun pulled on me, my biggest epiphany was this:

Life is so short and uncertain. Why waste any of our precious lives worrying about basic shit, and living a basic life?

This is what I think: when you live a more risky life, with more danger, randomness, chaos, and when there is more “at stake”, you awaken your inner genius.

Lesson: Disdain the average. Strive to become the best.
