Thanks to Cindy for the idea. The basic notion is this:
If you need free photographs or illustrations for a book cover, design, etc — these are for you.
In praise of an open society.
The basic notion is this:
I don’t “own” my photos, nor do my photos “belong” to me. I am nothing but an instrument of making visual artworks, and it is my duty to share these artworks openly with others.
But won’t this hurt your business?
I’ve actually discovered that keeping my stuff ‘open source’ has been beneficial from a business perspective. The more you share your photos openly and freely, the more your photos propagate and spread. Thus the more famous you become. Then people can end up attending your workshops, purchasing your products, etc.
